Carefully built sound-scapes which expand from an aural comforting equilibrium of cinematic ambient melodies to a breath-taking flight to the stars. AEVIN adeptly weaves together a series of complementary opposites into a uniquely rich and deeply rewarding listening experience to delve into and return to.
AEVIN debut live set was in his home town, and he continued with several shows in Athens, France, and recently in Elektroanschlag festival in Germany. He is part of the german label Raumklang Music roster, on which his album "The Aftermath" was released, along with his EP called "X2A" (featuring remixes by Totakeke and Conjecture. His music can be found in various compilations as well and most notably in "Touched 3" amongst artists such as Plaid, Autechre. AEVIN sounds spans from pounding dancing electronica, to multilayered experimental ambient works.Following his release “The Aftermath”, Aevin returns with his highly anticipated self-released album “Gravity”.
Continuing to build on his signature sound, Aevin once again inducts listeners with a collection of massive beat-oriented electronica complemented by epic string scores and gushing synth melodies. His latest release is also the most experimental work up to date. "By Reference" pays a tribute to his computer science background, together with an acknowledgment that all current artworks are indirectly inspired by other artists that came before, and thus created in a "by reference" context.
